Dr. Don F. Marx is a 1962 graduate of Neville High School. He received his BS degree from Northeast La. State University in 1966 and completed his medical school education at LSU Medical School. After completing his internship at LSU, Shreveport, La., he served in the United States Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. Dr. Marx received his urology training at LSU Medical School-Shreveport.

Dr. Marx is Board-Certified in Adult and Pediatric Urology by American Board of Urology and Licensed to practice in Louisiana. Dr. Marx has served as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at both Glenwood and North Monroe Hospitals. He has served on the Board of North Monroe Hospital. Dr. Marx presently is a board member of Vantage Health Plan, Inc. and on the Board of Managers of Monroe Surgical Hospital.

Dr. Marx is a member of the American Urologic Society, Southeast Section of the American Urologic Society, the Louisiana Medical Society, and the Ouachita Parish Medical Society.

Dr. Marx is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Fred A. Marx. Dr. Fred practiced in Monroe for over 55 years. Dr. Don Marx is married 38 years to Judy Fleischer Marx and they have two children: Dr. Daryl Marx and Brian Marx. Dr Daryl is practicing General Surgery in Monroe.

Dr. Don Marx has been in practice in Monroe since 1979.
